Jackie Wilcox

Jackie is an invaluable member of the staff at the Law Office of Verderamo Law. She brings decades of experience in the legal system. Jackie began her legal career in 1989 as a Legal Assistant in the Naples State Attorney’s Office and later worked for the Daytona Beach State Attorney until 2017 when she joined the Public Defender’s Office in Naples. We were fortunate to make her part of the team in 2019. Jackie is responsible for, among other things, calendaring appointments and court proceedings, gathering and generating court documents, coordinating depositions and hearings with various agencies and witnesses. Jackie’s knowledge and experience makes her a tremendous asset to the firm and to our clients.

Emely Lopez

Emely graduated from Lorenzo Walker Technical College with a diploma in Legal Studies in 2017, prior to that she took four years of Criminal Justice classes while attending Lely High School. She joined the firm in 2018 and has worked on every facet of cases, she can pretty much handle anything our clients need from the most basic to advanced requests. She is also bilingual and speaks fluent English and Spanish and spends a large part of her day assisting our clients who speak Spanish on the telephone and in the office. Our office and our clients are lucky to have such a committed team member.

Brandis Godwin

Brandis is an exceptionally talented musician and prior to joining our staff spent a lot of time performing and working in the music field. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Music Performance from Stetson University in 2012 followed by a Master’s in Music Performance from Kent State University in 2014. In 2019 she graduated from Florida Southwestern State College with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and came to work with us as an intern during her final semester. She was a natural and her attitude and professionalism made her a pleasure to work with and we were very glad to offer her a permanent position after her internship. Brandis helps our clients with scheduling appointments and keeps them informed of their future court dates and court events. She also sends correspondence to via mail so that they’re always up to date on the status of their case.
