Michelle Mathis
Legal Assistant
Michelle is an invaluable member of the staff at Verderamo Law. She brings a decade of experience in the legal system. Michelle began her legal career in 2012 as a Legal Assistant in the Naples State Attorney’s Office. While at the State Attorney’s Office she was the supervisor for clerical staff and a trial assistant. She later worked in private practice as a paralegal for a defense firm in Naples. We were fortunate to make her part of the team. Michelle is responsible for, among other things, calendaring appointments and court proceedings, gathering and generating court documents, coordinating depositions and hearings with various agencies and witnesses. Michelle’s knowledge and experience makes her a tremendous asset to the firm and to our clients.
Emely Lopez
Legal Assistant
As a dedicated legal assistant since 2018, Emely has become an invaluable member of our legal team. Bringing a meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to our clients, she consistently strives to support our attorneys and ensure seamless operations within the firm.
Outside of work, Emely is passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and takes pride in working out daily. This commitment to personal well-being not only fuels her energy at the firm but also translates into a disciplined approach to problem-solving and project management.

Sophia Tedesco
Legal Assistant
Sophia is a dedicated legal assistant from Philadelphia who studied Criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. With a strong commitment to supporting the legal team, she takes pride in assisting Derek and Adam, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service and attention.
Outside of the office, Sophia enjoys playing pickleball and eating pasta.
Sophia brings a positive attitude and a teamwork mentality to every task, making her an invaluable asset to the firm.
